April 26 & 27, 2024, Yjastros: The American Flamenco Repertory Company welcomes you to an evening of dance, music and exploration during their Spring Concert, FLAMENCO FANDANGUERO: Primos de la Raza Cósmica at the National Hispanic Cultural Center in Albuquerque, NM.

FLAMENCO FANDANGUERO is like nothing you’ve seen before!

This unique performance grew from artistic collaborations among Flamenco, Son Jarocho, African Dance, and Theatre artists and features over 30 performers, including invited international guests, Patricio Hidalgo, Yaratzé Hidalgo Sandoval, Sinuhé Padilla Isunza, Isa Jurado,
Victor Murillo, Laura Rebolloso, Ángel Ruíz, and Freddy Vega.

FLAMENCO FANDANGUERO: Primos de la Raza Cósmica brings together art forms that share a common ancestor. In Latin America and amongst flamencos, a primo, literally meaning a cousin, is someone with whom you connect deeply. FLAMENCO FANDANGUERO is a beautiful, rooted performance by a group of deeply connected artists. FLAMENCO FANDANGUERO  resonates with exuberant shared energy, an event born from the collective work of primos who are creative people, connected to one another.
