Niños y Teeños FLAMENCOS - STUDENT COMPANIES
Student Company I: Teeños | Student Company II: Niños
Student Company Rehearsals begin Wednesday, September 4
The Conservatory of Flamenco Arts (CFA) Student Companies exemplify the school’s comprehensive and excellence-driven approach to instruction. The student companies focus on flamenco and Spanish dance training while prioritizing the experience of performing and executing works of influential choreographers in the field.
Who joins the Student Companies?
Student company dancers (ages 8-19) must have completed several years of training and have reached a level of performance that allows them to participate alongside the current members. Before each Fall semester, the CFA teaching staff selects and invites a few promising and driven students to join the companies.
Dancers participate in the Student Company rehearsals in addition to their Children’s Foundations or Training Program classes. In order to accommodate the more intense pre-professional class requirements, a special Student Companies Unlimited Class Pass is offered.
Each semester culminates in public performances, La Estrella in the fall semester, and Futuros Flamencos in the spring. Student dancers must also participate in community performances. Please consider joining us!
